0.0.0.2 | Stages of Development
I plan to take development in stages I've decided to "model" after Minecraft's development, meaning my first focus is the creative systems. The initial build 0.0.0.1, was focused on establishing the basic inventory system, including the base item actors, and the beginnings of the basic diegetic UI. With the current 0.0.0.2 build, I'm focusing on working out the basic shelter building system, ensuring there are enough building parts (foundation, walls, roofs) to build a structure that half resembles a house, also as a practice to see if the building system is versatile enough to allow for scalability. While there is certainly room for improvment and refinement, I'm happy with the current state of the building system, and the next build 0.0.0.3, will be focusing on crafting.
